SNU Kolkata Placement

The Career Development Cell of SNU seeks to guide the students and set them on a bright career path, while providing internship opportunities and placement facilities. With more than 100+ global tie ups, over 90% of the SNU students got placed with multiple job
offers. More than 200 companies visit the campus every year to conduct interviews and offer placements to all the deserving candidates. Some of the top recruiters are Amazon, TCS, Microsoft, Wipro, ThoughtWorks, Intel, HCL, Deloitte, McAfee, infomatica, ZEE News etc.

SNU Kolkata Scholarship

Scholarship is given to students on the basis of Merit list. The following are the scholarship provided by the University:

Chancellor Merit Scholarship
For students securing more than or equal to 95% marks in the qualifying examination for diploma/undergraduate programs and more than 75% marks in the qualifying examination for postgraduate programs of study shall be eligible to get a 100% scholarship which is equivalent to 100% of the Tuition Fee payable by the student.

Chancellor Talent Scholarship
Any talent in the field of sports, performing arts (e.g. singing, dancing, drama etc.), visual arts (e.g. painting, sculpture etc.), who have represented a State or Nation in a National or International meet/ performance and who meet the eligibility criteria for admission to any undergraduate/postgraduate program, may be offered 50% scholarship which is equivalent to 50% of the Tuition Fee payable by the student. Depending upon the applicant's merit the scholarship amount may be increased with due approval of the Vice-Chancellor.

SNU Kolkata Facilities

Sister Nivedita University offers the following advanced facilities to its students:

• Hostels: SNU provides hostel facilities to all the students who need it. Hotels are gender-segregated, with the rooms having double or triple occupancy and have both AC and non-AC facilities. Food and healthcare facilities are also provided to ensure the well-being of all the hostellers.
